12 Days best of Uganda tour

Our professional driver tour guide will pick you from Entebbe airport/ hotel and you embark on a transfer to Jinja – a city at the Source of the Nile.
Expected sightings en route are; the Mabira Forest, the vast tea
and sugarcane plantation that hugs the horizons. Upon arrival you will proceed to visit the source of the Nile.
Later, check into the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Today we set off in the morning after breakfast heading to Ziwa rhino sanctuary. This sanctuary
is home to not only rhinos but also wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, warthogs, bushbucks,
waterbucks among others.

Upon arrival, we will head out for a 1hour rhino trek where you get the chance of coming close
to these animals by foot as guided by a ranger guide. Thereafter have lunch and rest for the
afternoon. You will later on head out again in the evening hours for a nature walk to encounter
more of the inhabitants of this rhino and wildlife sanctuary.

Have relaxed breakfast and embark on a journey to the biggest and oldest national park in
Uganda with over 100 different mammal species and about 450 bird species.
Along the way, we will make a detour to the top of murchison falls to experience the roaring
waterfall arguably the most powerful in the world.

Thereafter proceed to the accommodation for check-in and lunch. We will later head out for an
evening game drive in search of animals such as lions, leopards (elusive), elephants, buffalos,
antelopes, giraffes among others.

We close the day with dinner at the accommodation.

Today we set off early morning before sunrise heading to the game park for an early morning
game drive. You can choose to have breakfast first or take packed breakfast and have it later in
the game park. Spend sometime enjoying wildlife and nature in this natural habitat.

Later head back to the lodge for lunch and afterwards embark on an afternoon boat tour along
river nile for more wildlife viewing such as hippos, crocodiles, birds and more as we sail to the
bottom of the falls for different view of murchison falls. Afterwards, head to the accommodation
for an evening relaxation.

You will be welcomed and picked up by a professional tour driver guide from our team,
then set off to Kibale National park.
Commonly known as the primates capital, Kibale forest national park is home to 13
primate species which include; chimpanzees, red tailed monkeys, olive baboons,
black and white colobus monkeys, among others.
Upon arrival, you will check in at the accommodation then head out for a community
tour which entails coffee tour, beer brewing and basket weaving as you walk around the village.

We shall have breakfast and proceed for the Chimpanzee tracking in the Kibale Forest. The Forest is home to
habituated Chimpanzees plus other primates including baboons, monkeys and also bird species. Today, you will
spend the early part of the day tracking chimpanzees here. From Kibale Forest, we shall return to the lodge for
lunch and thereafter, we shall embark on a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will reach Queen with some time available to move out for game viewing. During the game drive/viewing, look out for wild animals like;
lions, the elusive leopard, herd of elephants, buffaloes to mention but a few.

Today we take a drive to the game park of Queen Elizabeth national park
which is the second biggest game park in Uganda. This game park inhabits animals
like lions , elephants, leopards, hyenas, waterbucks, bushbucks, buffalos, to mention
but a few and about 650 different bird species.
Late in the afternoon, we head out for a boat trip along Kazinga channel. Expect to
see a number of different bird species, a big concentration of hippos among others.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then travel to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park – famously
known for tree-climbing lions. Should you get to spot them, the sighting is memorable. From Ishasha, you
will continue to the accommodation at the edge of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check in upon arrival at the accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi
gorilla trekking experience next day.

Have breakfast and move to the rangers’ post. You will be briefed about the dos
and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Thereafter, you will enter the forest for your adventure.  Enjoy a beautiful yet steep landscape in this area while on your quest to have an upclose encounter with the endangered gentle giants. Once you have located a gorilla group, you will
be allowed an hour in their presence. After the trek, return to the accommodation for abit of relaxation and later head out for the Batwa community excursion for a local lifestyle insight.

Today we transfer to lake bunyonyi, the 3rd deepest lake in the world (900meters deep) with 29
beautiful historical islands. Upon arrival, you will check in and relax. You will later embark on a
boat trip around the historical islands by boat as you get to know more about their history.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and then, set off to Lake Mburo NP. Lake Mburo NP is the smallest savannah National Park in Uganda but home to so many bird species as well as animals such as: Giraffes, Zebra,
impala, eland, buffalo, and the elusive leopard among others. We shall arrive and check, then later head out for the evening game drive. Expect to see animals such as; Zebras, Giraffes, Elands, Topis, buffalos among others. Finally, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today we start the day with a guided walking safari for an up-close on-foot encounter with wildlife. Thereafter drive out heading to Entebbe. Along the way, we will make a stop at the equator monument for pictures and lunch nearby.
