Wildlife
About 345 mammal species inhabit Uganda's national parks and game reserves. Some of these animals can be viewed in their natural habitat while on safari.

Primates
Uganda is home to more than 50% of mountain gorilla population globally, about 5,000 chimpanzees and golden monkeys which are all classified as endangered species of primates among others.

Birding
A birder's haven as it is referred to, slightly over a 1,000 different bird species are found in Uganda, which is 50% of Africa's bird species.
